“Causeway identified how the combination of its Vixen service and maintenance software and mobile technologies can help CFS to maintain, and improve, the high levels of service our customers have come to expect, while generating significant cost savings and revenue increases.”
Contract Fire Security (CFS) is working in partnership with Causeway on a major upgrade of Causeway’s Vixen service & maintenance management software, alongside associated mobile technologies, to transform its operational performance. As well as reducing costs and supporting increased sales revenue to deliver a return on investment, the Causeway solution will help underpin CFS’s vision of being ‘The most recommended business in Life Safety Systems’.
The decision to upgrade to Causeway Vixen Enterprise follows a high-level evaluation by Causeway of CFS’ existing systems, workflows and processes. The appraisal also focused on areas that would enhance the service delivered to CFS’ customers, such as the introduction of an easy-to-maintain customer portal.
“Through multiple interviews at various levels in the CFS business, we were able to pinpoint the most important business challenges around systems and processes,” recalled Causeway Executive Vice President Paul Madeira. “We also measured time and costs against particular business processes as the basis for a series of KPIs that can be measured now, and re-measured in the future to gauge progress”, he continued.
Steve Butler, Finance Director of CFS added: “Causeway identified how the combination of its Vixen service and maintenance software and mobile technologies can help CFS to maintain, and improve, the high levels of service our customers have come to expect, while generating significant cost savings and revenue increases. The solution will also allow CFS to integrate real-life KPI data with Causeway’s analytical software. This will make it much easier to access the information required to manage the business efficiently on a day-to-day basis.”
Other enhancements to Causeway mobile technologies will allow consistency across key activities such as raising requisitions on site and controlling van stocks whilst drivers are on the road.
“Not only will implementing Vixen achieve significant cost-savings in processes and technology, it will also enable CFS to quickly realise concealed revenue in the business without increasing head count or significantly raising operating costs. Moreover, the increased efficiencies will free up key human resources to focus on activities that add value for the business and its customers”, Paul Madeira concluded.
