Vixen Optimum Routing is a new module within Vixen Service & Maintenance. It enables service desk operators to use resource scheduling functionality from within Vixen software to optimise allocation of jobs, based on a range of key criteria. As such, it facilitates more efficient resource planning and decision making.
Developed in conjunction with Contract Fire Security and Smith & Byford, Vixen Optimum Routing integrates Causeway Telematics Resource Scheduling with Vixen Engineer’s Diary. Consequently it displays not only the location of engineers but also the nature of their current job and what types of job they are qualified for. It will also calculate which engineer would reach a reactive job first, taking into account when they will complete their current job and traveling time, providing an ETA that can be passed on to the client. Further refinements are being introduced to the module that will add even greater functionality and integration.
