After months of training and preparation, Team Causeway has finally got underway in the Dallaglio Flintoff Cycle Slam 2012! Currently powering their way through Classic Greece, all the riders are being tracked by our Causeway Telematics GPS system, and their live locations and cycle information is available to view online right now!

Proven in use during Cycle Slam 2010, the Causeway Telematics trackers aid the logistics of the event and help ensure all riders and support vehicles are in the right places at the right times. Attached to 91 riders and 17 support vehicles, the trackers send live updates on everybody’s progress, average speed, distance travelled and ranking every 20 seconds, as they cycle 2,872 km across four countries, from Olympia in Greece to the Olympic Park in London. As a stage sponsor of the event, we are delighted to provide eight riders to support the cause, the first of whom is John Conmy, who joins 64 other riders in stage one, including Chairman of Causeway, Peter Nagle, who is cycling the entire event. You can find out why he and the other Team Causeway riders decided to get involved in the Cycle Slam 2012 in this brilliant new video. To donate to this fantastic cause and help raise £2,012,000 for the Dallagilio, Flintoff and Virgin Unite Foundations, simply visit the Team Causeway donations page, or text 70300 with ‘Causeway5’ to donate £5 or ‘Causeway10’ to donate £10. The Dallaglio Flintoff Cycle Slam started today and will end on the 18th May.
