Privacy Notice for Admin Users
SkillGuard is a workforce and supply chain management system provided as a cross-industry platform for use by utilities and contractors in the utilities sector. It is managed by Causeway Technologies Limited, Sterling House, 20 Station Road, Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, SL9 8EL (“Us”). This privacy notice outlines how we process your data.

- Purpose of Processing: To enable you to manage data in SkillGuard on behalf of your employer.
- Legal Basis: Performance of a Contract
- Nature of Processing: Data is stored and processed to ensure controls are in place to limit access to authorized individuals.
- Storage Location: UK-based storage, not transferred outside the UK/EEA without appropriate safeguards.
- Types of Personal Data: Identification details for correspondence, user maintenance, and audit purposes.
- Duration: For the life of the SkillGuard system.
- Sharing: Within the system, visible to authorized user types/roles.
Your Data Protection Rights
As a data subject, you have the right to access, correct, object, restrict processing, and withdraw consent for your data. Contact us or your employer to exercise these rights. Complaints can be addressed to our Data Protection Officer, and you can also lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Privacy Notice for “My SkillGuard”
SkillGuard is managed by Causeway Technologies Limited, Sterling House, 20 Station Road, Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, SL9 8EL. Your primary employer is generally the data controller.

How We Process Your Data
- Purpose of Processing: To enable you to participate in a cross-industry platform for managing trusted workforce information.
- Legal Basis: Legitimate interest and performance of a contract
- Nature of Processing: Workforce and supply chain management, providing real-time "authority to work" information, and historical record retention.
- Types of Personal Data: Includes identification, qualifications, job roles, and safety-critical health information.
- Storage Location: UK-based storage, not transferred outside the UK/EEA without appropriate safeguards.
- Duration: Seven years from the last employer subscription payment, plus six months for encrypted backups.
Your Data Protection Rights
You have the right to access, correct, object, restrict processing, and withdraw consent for your data. Contact your employer or us to exercise these rights. Complaints can be addressed to our Data Protection Officer or lodged with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
