Monmouthshire (Sir Fynwy) County Council has taken a significant step forward in enhancing its auditing capabilities with the adoption of Causeway Flow. This transition from the free version to a comprehensive paid solution underscores Monmouthshire's commitment to improving its approval process.
In response to feedback from councils earlier this year, we introduced an advanced package tailored for approving authorities across the UK. The bundle includes online drop-in sessions and the Overland Flow module, which assesses the impact of extreme weather events on drainage networks.
The Sustainable Drainage Approving Body (SAB) at Monmouthshire Council, who previously used the basic, free version of Causeway Flow, recognised the benefits of upgrading to our new package. Key factors influencing their decision included the opportunity to connect with our team during drop-in sessions. These sessions offer them direct access to expert advice, questions addressed, and gain insights into best practices.
Furthermore, our unique floating license model provided their team with flexibility and significant cost savings compared to alternative drainage design approval solutions.
"We're excited to see Monmouthshire County Council take full advantage of our new bundle," said Yalda, a Senior Account Manager at Causeway. "In Wales, where SuDS compliance is mandatory, their investment ensures they have the right tools to efficiently and accurately manage growing drainage design submissions. We look forward to supporting them on this journey and seeing the positive impact on their workflows."
For approving authorities in the UK looking to improve their auditing process, fully support the FEH22 datasets to endure more resilient designs or get ready for Schedule 3, now is the perfect time to explore Causeway Flow.
