Basildon Council has selected Causeway Alloy, our advanced operational asset management system, to modernise its waste services. This deployment transitions from a largely manual, paper-based setup to a modern digital platform designed to enhance service performance, increase operational efficiency, and deliver a superior customer experience.
The three-year contract will initially focus on waste management, with the inclusion of other service areas, such as tree management and street lighting, starting next year.
Basildon Council selected Causeway Alloy for several reasons:
- In-cab technology: This will play a critical role in optimising waste management services, providing real-time data to improve operational efficiency.
- Seamless integration: Causeway Alloy’s RESTful API capabilities enable easy integration with Basildon’s existing systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics. This ensures streamlined operations and better access to public-facing content, driving a better customer experience.
- Modern SaaS design: Alloy’s full web-based architecture was built to modern standards, ensuring scalability, security, and resilience. Unlike legacy systems, Alloy’s design allows Basildon to adapt quickly to new challenges, including cyber threats, as demonstrated by its ability to remain uncompromised during previous incidents.
- Modular blueprints: The waste service blueprints provide Basildon with a best practice starting point while also offering the flexibility to customise and expand into other service areas, such as street cleansing and tree management, when required.
We’re excited to embark on this new chapter with Basildon Council and are confident that Causeway Alloy will play a pivotal role in enhancing their waste services. We look forward to supporting the Council as they continue to improve service delivery and resident satisfaction.
