What happens to my fingerprint?
The fingerprint feature is designed to uniquely identify each person, in turn protecting each individual’s identity. Its very existence on the device is so it CANNOT be copied or used for any other purpose by anyone else. The device is designed to take a template of each fingerprint.
It DOES NOT store an image nor does it store enough information for it to be possible to copy
the fingerprint. On top of this, the template is encrypted so it is completely secure.

While advanced, the system can face issues like unrecognised fingerprints, black screens, or battery problems. Here are some common solutions:
- Ensuring fingers and the scanner are clean: Dirt or grease can prevent accurate readings. Clean both the scanner and your fingers regularly.
- Black screen: If the screen turns off tap the screen twice for it to come on again or press the power button for 2 seconds to wake it up from standby mode.
- Maintaining at least 30% battery charge: Low battery levels can affect performance. Keep the device charged to ensure optimal functioning.
- Rebooting the system if it freezes: Occasionally your devices screen may freeze. If this happens, you should conduct a system reboot. To reboot, hold in the Power button for
up to 15 seconds or until the screen goes black and the system shuts down. You can then turn it back on by pressing the power button again.
If problems continue, try re-enrolling your fingerprints through the app's admin section, and make sure you're using the originally registered finger.
