Cost consultancy and quantity surveying practice George Corderoy & Co becomes the latest of a number of specialist firms turning to Causeway’s CATO Cost & Programme Management suite in the first quarter of 2018.

Specialising in major highways, civil engineering, rail, utilities and building projects, the organisation has recently purchased a large number of concurrent CATO Essential licences following a full market analysis and evaluation period that saw Causeway’s CATO emerge as the preferred solution.

The suite offers the unique ability to automate large volume and area calculations with a simple drag and drop technique within its BIMMeasure module. This functionality presented one of the critical advantages of CATO over its competitors in the decision making process.

The purchase comes complete with Causeway’s Earthworks as an additional digital module to the Essential Bundle, as well as highways and CESMM libraries, providing George Corderoy & Co with the end-to-end solution necessary for their major infrastructure projects.

As part of the evaluation process, Causeway presented a business case to detail the cost savings possible across a 5-year period across all concurrent CATO users. As well as the solution’s leading functionality, these savings (equating to over £730,000 across 5 years), helped to make CATO the obvious solution of choice.
