Causeway has successfully achieved a 3-year re-certification to ISO 27001 (Information Security Management) and has also passed the annual audit for ISO 22301 (Business Continuity Management).
“We are delighted to have third party verification that we continue to meet the exacting standards of these internationally recognised standards,” commented Hywel Evans, Causeway’s Executive Vice President for Corporate Services. “These certifications are important to many of our customers as they demonstrate our continuing commitment to the security of their information and resilience of our systems and business,” he added.
ISO 27001 is the international standard that describes best practice for an information security management system (ISMS). Accredited certification to ISO 27001 demonstrates that an organisation is following international information security best practices. As such, it reduces the risk of security threats and avoids exploitation of security risks through the key areas of confidentiality, integrity and availability.
ISO 22301 specifies the requirements for a management system to protect against and reduce the likelihood of disruptive incidents and ensures that a compliant business will recover from any such incidents. Certification therefore demonstrates Causeway’s commitment to organisational resilience and legal and regulatory compliance, providing additional peace of mind for customers and other stakeholders.
